UGL - Understanding Group and Leadership
Since around 1980 UGL has been on the map over development of leaders and co-workers, previously only in Scandinavia. In the beginning it was a training conducted just within the military. Already then UGL focused much on the soft or relational parts of leadership.
During your training you have the opportunity in a group of 8 to 12 people to explore how you affect others in a group as well as gaining insight into how you are affected by others. Through this leadership training you have the opportunity to understand processes in groups better.
UGL as a leadership training strengthens you ability as a leader through increased self awareness. This leads to increased self confidence which is an important part of you training.
More about the UGL training
The training is experiential based and what you get of it is closely related to your own level of engagement and participation during the five days. Since the training is demanding it is a good idea to notify friends and collegues that you are away this week so you have the possibility of focusing on your self and your growth as a leader and human being.
A UGL training is facilitated by two specially certified facilitators and conducted on site. This means that you live on location during the training. Evening seminars are included the first four days of the training so do not count on having lots of spare time. Even you want to know more about the training you can read the Frequently Asked Questions which will be posted here shortly.
Several of the participants describe this as one of the most important and most developing experiences in their life. Since the year 2007 UGL is now also offered in an international englis speaking version.
