By definition in-house leadership training is a training that is delivered exclusively to participants from a single organization. The program can follow a common, predefined format or be tailored specifically to the organization.
In-house leadership trainings can also referred to as bespoke trainings or custom programs. We have chosen the term in-house to use here on our site as it is in our opinion the most widely used term.
How we can help you
When we launch our services in the UK you will be able to find a listing of trainers in the UK offering different kinds of in-house leadership trainings.
We are currently working on establishing contact with trainers that facilitate these trainings and having them go through our quality screening process.
Pros and Cons of In-house Leadership Training
A clear advantage of an in-house leadership training is that you can tailor it specifically to your needs and time-frames. You can decide on locations and timing of the trainings as well as the size of the group attending the training.
A disadvantage can be when you want to develop leaders in your organisation and have them increase their self-insight and receive effective feedback from others.
While this can certainly be achieved with bespoke trainings, it is usually easier during a well facilitated public training where you do not have to worry about past conflicts between participants or that they will feel limited in their openness by attending with their colleagues.
